Rack accessory EQUIP 922225, grey — mountable 19-inch rack component
The EQUIP 922225 grey rack accessory is a mountable 19-inch component designed for use in standard equipment racks. Made from solid sheet steel with a light grey RAL 7035 finish, the unit offers a 1U height and a usable depth of 250 mm. The shelf is supplied with mounting hardware and features a perforated surface for ventilation. It is intended as a practical solution for installing and supporting non-rackmountable devices and peripherals within a rack enclosure.
The perforated surface improves airflow and helps dissipate heat from devices placed on the shelf. Solid sheet steel construction provides rigidity and load-bearing capacity while maintaining a compact 1U profile. Supplied mounting material simplifies installation into 19-inch racks. The light grey RAL 7035 finish offers a neutral appearance that integrates with common rack environments.
Install the shelf into a standard 19-inch rack using the supplied mounting hardware. Position the shelf at the required U-height, secure the mounting screws to the rack posts, and ensure the unit is level and firmly attached before placing equipment on it. Distribute load evenly across the shelf surface and avoid exceeding the specified static load capacity of 15 kg. The perforated design allows airflow beneath and through mounted devices; leave clearance for cable routing and ventilation paths.
For reliable performance, place heavier items close to the rack posts to reduce cantilever stress. Use cable ties or routing accessories to keep cables clear of ventilation holes. Do not exceed the 15 kg load rating and avoid mounting heat-generating devices directly against other equipment without adequate airflow.
