19" mounting set EQUIP — Steel rack mounting kit for 19-inch cabinets
EQUIP 19" mounting set is a steel rack mounting kit designed for installation of equipment in 19-inch cabinets and server racks. The kit provides robust, fixed mounting points compatible with standard 19" rack rails and is intended for use with common IT devices such as switches, patch panels and compact servers. Constructed of steel, the set focuses on durability and stable attachment in data centers, server rooms and telecom cabinets.
The steel construction offers strong mechanical stability and resistance to deformation under load. Included M6 screws, captive nuts and plastic washers simplify installation and help maintain secure connections while protecting equipment surfaces. The kit’s compatibility with 19" rack rails ensures straightforward integration into existing racks without the need for additional adapters.
Position the mounting brackets or rails at the required U height in the 19" cabinet and align the holes with the rack rail mounting points. Insert the included M6 screws through the equipment mounting holes and secure them with the captive nuts on the rail side, using the plastic washers where needed to prevent metal-to-metal contact. Tighten fasteners to a firm hand-tight plus a small additional turn with a suitable tool; avoid over-tightening to prevent thread damage. Verify that mounted equipment is level and securely supported before powering on connected devices.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment when installing hardware. Distribute weight evenly across mounting points and follow equipment manufacturer instructions for rack installation and cooling clearance. Periodically check fasteners for tightness, especially after moving or servicing rack-mounted devices.
