SFP Transceiver Module ESUS IT J4859D-C LC 1 Gbps 10 km
SFP Transceiver Module ESUS IT J4859D-C LC 1 Gbps 10 km
ESUS IT J4859D-C LC 1 Gbps 10 km SFP transceiver module is a single‑mode fiber optic SFP designed to provide a 1 Gbps data link over distances up to 10 kilometers using an LC duplex connector. The module is compatible with standard 1 G SFP slots in switches, routers and optical network equipment that support SFP transceivers, and is intended as a replacement module to restore or extend fiber connections in enterprise LANs, data centers and access network links.
The transceiver offers a compact SFP form factor that fits industry-standard SFP cages and hot‑swap slots, enabling quick installation and replacement without powering down equipment. With a 1 Gbps data rate and single-mode optical design it supports long-reach links up to 10 km while maintaining low power consumption and stable signal performance. The LC duplex connector ensures secure fiber coupling and broad interoperability with LC-terminated fiber patch cords and adapters.
Insert the SFP transceiver into an empty, compatible SFP slot on your switch, router, or optical device until it clicks into place. Connect LC duplex fiber patch cords to the module using correct polarity (Tx/Rx). Verify link status through the host device management interface and confirm the module is recognized at 1 Gbps. If replacing an existing transceiver, remove the old module by releasing the latch and pulling it straight out, then install the replacement while the device is powered if hot-swap capability is supported.
Use single-mode fiber with appropriate attenuation and proper LC patch cords for distances up to 10 km. Check device documentation for compatibility and any required firmware or configuration settings. Avoid bending fiber beyond recommended radii and protect the transceiver from dust by using dust caps when not connected.
