The ETI S-193 B32A 3P with Neutral (4 modules) B32 is a three-pole miniature circuit breaker with integrated neutral intended for overcurrent and short-circuit protection in residential and light-commercial electrical installations. With a B characteristic and a rated current of 32 A, this DIN-rail mountable device occupies four modules in a standard distribution board and provides coordinated protection for three-phase circuits including the neutral conductor. It is designed to interrupt fault currents reliably while accommodating typical inrush currents from lighting and small motor loads.
The breaker offers standardized snap-on DIN-rail installation and compact 4-module width for efficient use of panel space. Its B tripping characteristic ensures sensitivity to low-magnitude faults and overloads typical for lighting and general-purpose circuits while tolerating short inrush events. Built for three-pole protection with a neutral, it allows simultaneous disconnection of all conductors, improving safety during maintenance and fault conditions.
This B32 three-pole breaker is not intended for circuits with heavy motor starting or high inrush currents beyond typical small motors and lighting, where C or D characteristic devices may be more appropriate. It is also not a replacement for residual current devices, surge protection modules, or upstream main protection designed for high fault currents in industrial networks.
Install the breaker on a standard 35 mm DIN-rail inside a distribution board, ensuring correct orientation and secure snapping into place. Connect the three phase conductors and neutral to the corresponding terminals, following local wiring regulations and ensuring tight, torque-specified terminal connections. Coordinate upstream and downstream protective devices and label the circuit for identification. After installation, perform a functional test by switching the breaker on and off and, if required, simulate an overload condition according to local safety procedures.
