Eti-Polam KZS-4M Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection 4P 20A C 0.03A AC Type
The Eti-Polam KZS-4M is a high-performance 4-pole residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO), engineered to provide comprehensive electrical safety in both residential and industrial environments. This device integrates the functions of a miniature circuit breaker and a residual current device into a single compact unit, ensuring efficient protection against short circuits, overloads, and dangerous earth leakage currents.
This RCBO offers a space-saving design by combining two essential safety functions into one housing, which simplifies installation and reduces the amount of space required in electrical distribution boards. Its robust construction ensures reliable operation under various load conditions, while the C-type tripping characteristic provides a balanced response to standard industrial and domestic equipment start-up currents. The device is specifically designed to detect AC type leakage currents, providing a critical layer of protection for personnel and equipment against electrical faults.
This device is designed for AC type leakage current detection and may not be appropriate for circuits where DC components are present, such as those connected to certain types of frequency converters or advanced electronic power supplies. It is also not intended for use in environments exceeding its specified thermal or electrical ratings.
The Eti-Polam KZS-4M should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical regulations. It is mounted onto a standard DIN rail within a distribution cabinet. Ensure that all supply and load conductors are securely fastened to the appropriate terminals, observing the correct torque settings. After installation, the device should be tested using the integrated test button to verify the mechanical operation of the tripping mechanism.
Regularly test the device using the test button at least every six months to ensure the internal mechanism remains functional and responsive to potential fault conditions.
