USB Hub EXSYS EX-1110HMVS
The EXSYS EX-1110HMVS is a compact USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) Type-B hub that provides ten screw-lockable USB 3.0/3.1(Gen1) Type-A downstream ports with 15 kV ESD surge protection and a maximum data transfer rate of 5000 Mbit/s. Designed for rack or desktop use, the hub allows connection of up to ten external USB peripherals to a single Type-B host port and is powered via USB with an input voltage range of 7–24 V. Its compact dimensions (197.7 × 55.5 × 31 mm) and black housing suit office and industrial automation environments and the device supports a broad range of Windows and Mac operating systems.
The EX-1110HMVS offers screw-lock connectors for secure cable fixation, 15 kV ESD surge protection for improved reliability in electrically noisy environments, and ten downstream USB 3.0/3.1(Gen1) ports for connecting multiple peripherals to a single host. The hub is USB-powered, compact and lightweight (0.7 kg), making it suitable for installation in 19-inch racks or standalone setups where space is limited. Broad OS compatibility simplifies deployment in mixed Windows and Mac environments.
Connect the hub's Type-B host connector to the host computer using a USB A‑male to B‑male cable and secure the connector using the screw-lock mechanism. Plug the USB peripherals into the screw-lock Type-A downstream ports and verify that the host recognizes the connected devices. Ensure the host supplies adequate USB power within the specified 7–24 V range or use a suitable powered USB port if required for multiple high-current devices. Mount the hub in a 19-inch rack or place it on a desk as needed.
For stable operation in industrial or electrically noisy environments, use shielded USB cables, tighten the screw-lock connectors to prevent accidental disconnection, and avoid connecting too many high-current devices without confirming the host can supply sufficient power. Regularly check connections and ESD protection if devices are frequently hot-plugged.
