USB Hub EXSYS 7-Port 480 Mbit/s Black
The EX-1177HMV is a compact industrial USB 2.0 hub that provides seven screw-secured downstream USB ports, allowing up to seven external USB peripherals to be connected to a single USB 2.0 upstream port in a 19" rack or other installation. The hub uses the NEC uPD720113 chipset, supports data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps, and can be powered from 7–40 V DC or optionally from the USB bus (+5 V). Its metal housing and integrated DIN-rail mounting make it suitable for automation and office environments where a robust, space-saving solution is required.
The device offers seven screw-terminal A-type downstream ports for secure cable connections and an upstream screw-terminal B-type port. It supports automatic detection of peripheral data rates (full/hi-speed) and does not require additional drivers for standard operation. The wide DC input range (7–40 V) meets common industrial power standards, and the hub’s compact dimensions (114.5 x 73 x 26.3 mm) and 250 g weight simplify installation in confined spaces.
Mount the hub on a DIN-rail or place it in the intended rack location, connect the upstream cable (included EX-K1552, A to B, 2 m) to the host USB 2.0 port and secure the screw terminals for a stable connection. If external power is required, connect a 7–40 V DC supply to the terminal block; alternatively the hub can be powered from the USB bus when available. Attach downstream devices to the screw-secured A-type ports and allow the hub to auto-negotiate each device’s transfer rate.
For reliable industrial operation, use shielded USB cables and a stable DC power source within the 7–40 V range; avoid exposure to temperatures outside the specified operating range and ensure adequate ventilation around the metal housing.
