USB Hub EXSYS EX-1177HMVS-WT
The EXSYS EX-1177HMVS-WT is a compact industrial USB 2.0 Type-B hub that expands one upstream port into seven screw-lock downstream ports. It supports data rates up to 480 Mbit/s, accepts an input voltage range of 7–48 V, and is built to operate in a wide temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C. The hub has a black-and-white housing and a compact footprint, designed to provide reliable USB connectivity in automation, office, and other rugged environments.
The unit provides seven USB 2.0 downstream ports with screw-lock connectors to secure cables mechanically and with 15 kV ESD protection per port to guard connected devices against electrostatic discharge and voltage fluctuations. Its compact, robust construction and broad operating temperature range make it suitable for industrial applications. The wide input voltage range allows flexible power arrangements in varied installations.
This hub supports the USB 2.0 standard (up to 480 Mbit/s) and therefore does not provide USB 3.x transfer speeds or bandwidth required by high-throughput devices such as modern external SSDs or high-resolution video capture devices. It is designed for industrial and peripheral connectivity rather than high-performance data-transfer applications.
Connect the hub's USB Type-B host interface to the upstream USB port on the host system. Attach peripheral devices to the screw-lock downstream ports and secure each connector by tightening the screw-lock mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection. Provide appropriate DC power within the 7–48 V range according to your installation; ensure wiring and grounding follow site requirements. The hub operates transparently to the host and attached USB 2.0 devices and requires no special drivers for standard operating systems.
For stable operation in industrial or mobile installations, use properly shielded USB cables, secure the hub within a 19-inch rack if required, and follow grounding and ESD control practices. Avoid connecting devices that require USB 3.x bandwidth; distribute high-current devices across properly powered hubs to prevent power limitations.
