PoE adapter EXSYS EX-6007POE
The EXSYS EX-6007POE is a compact Gigabit Ethernet PoE adapter that supplies 48 V power over Ethernet while supporting data rates of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and compliance with IEEE 802.3af. Its small dimensions (114 x 57 x 26 mm) and light weight (0.3 kg) make it suitable for installations where a nearby power outlet is not available, for example on ceilings or utility poles. The device steps up a common 24 VDC input to 48 VDC and functions as the Power Source Equipment (PSE) to power IEEE 802.3af-compliant Powered Devices (PD).
The EX-6007POE eliminates the need for a local power outlet at the device location by delivering 48 V PoE from a 24 VDC input, enabling greater flexibility in placing Wireless Access Points, IP cameras and other networked devices. Its compact form factor allows discreet installation in tight or out-of-the-way spaces while maintaining Gigabit data throughput. The adapter preserves existing LAN and internet infrastructure by adding PoE capability without major cabling changes.
Connect a 24 VDC power source to the EX-6007POE input, then plug the Ethernet cable from the adapter to the Powered Device (PD). Connect the other Ethernet port to the network switch or data source. The adapter will convert the 24 VDC input to 48 VDC and supply PoE to the connected PD while passing network data at Gigabit speeds. Ensure cables and connectors are suitable for the installation distance and environment.
Install the EX-6007POE within 100 metres of the PoE-powered device to meet Ethernet distance limits, use shielded or outdoor-rated cabling if installed outdoors, and verify that the connected PD conforms to IEEE 802.3af for compatibility. Ensure the 24 VDC input can supply sufficient current for the PD power requirements.
