Sector antenna Extralink EXSEC15-90 5GHz MIMO 4x4 90° 15dBi
Sector antenna Extralink EXSEC15-90 5GHz MIMO 4x4 90° 15dBi
The Extralink EXSEC15-90 sector antenna is a 5 GHz MIMO 4x4 antenna with a nominal gain of 15 dBi and a 90° horizontal beamwidth. Designed for outdoor wireless deployments, it provides a directional coverage sector compatible with Mimosa A5C and other 5 GHz radios that use N-type female connections. The antenna supports multi-antenna MIMO configurations to improve throughput and spatial diversity in point-to-multipoint networks.
This sector antenna delivers focused 90° coverage with 15 dBi gain to extend link range and concentrate signal energy where needed. The 4x4 MIMO capability helps increase capacity and reliability in dense deployments by allowing multiple spatial streams. The robust outdoor design and standard N-type female connector simplify installation and integration with compatible radios. The antenna’s frequency response is tuned for 5 GHz operation to meet local deployment requirements.
Mount the sector antenna on an appropriate mast or tower at the planned sector azimuth so the 90° beam covers the target service area. Connect each radio port to the antenna ports using low-loss coaxial cables and compatible N-type pigtails or adapters as required. Align the antenna azimuth and tilt to optimize coverage and minimize interference with adjacent sectors. Ensure all mounting hardware is tightened and weatherproofed according to site standards.
For best results, pair the EXSEC15-90 with radios that support 4x4 MIMO and operate in the 5 GHz band. Use quality low-loss cables and connectors, maintain proper sector separation to avoid co-channel interference, and perform on-site alignment and signal testing to verify coverage and throughput.
