The Extralink ACTIVE POE INJECTOR 8 PORT GIGABIT 802.3AT/AF 48V 1 Gbps is an 8-port active Power over Ethernet injector designed to deliver both power and data to compatible network devices. It supports IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af PoE standards and provides 48 V PoE voltage while maintaining Gigabit Ethernet data rates up to 1 Gbps per port. The unit uses Mode A cabling and is suitable for installations that require centralized power delivery to multiple powered devices such as access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones.
The injector combines eight Gigabit-capable PoE outputs with active power management that conforms to 802.3at/af specifications, enabling simultaneous power and data over standard Ethernet cabling. Its support for 1000 Mbps links ensures compatibility with high-speed network segments and modern PoE devices. The compact, rack-friendly form factor simplifies deployment in wiring closets or equipment cabinets while reducing the need for separate power supplies at each endpoint.
Install the injector in a dry, ventilated location near your network switch or patch panel. Connect the injector's LAN input to a non‑PoE Ethernet switch or router using standard Cat5e or better cabling.
