Wall mounted rack Extralink Rackmount cabinet 4U 10" Gray
Wall mounted rack Extralink Rackmount cabinet 4U 10" Gray
The Extralink Rackmount cabinet 4U 10" Gray is a compact wall-mounted network cabinet designed to house and protect small IT, telecom and CCTV equipment. Constructed from cold-rolled steel with a tempered glass front door that can open to either side, the cabinet provides a secure 4U mounting space with clearly marked vertical rails and a total external height of 280 mm. The design includes removable side panels for convenient access, internal rack rails for standard 10" equipment, and an integrated area on the top panel to fit a cooling fan and routing conduit for cable entry. The cabinet supports a maximum static load of 30 kg and is finished in grey for a neutral, professional appearance.
The cabinet combines durable cold-rolled steel construction with a tempered glass door to balance protection and visibility of installed devices. Marked 4U vertical rails make equipment placement and alignment straightforward, while the included key lock enhances physical security. Removable side walls simplify maintenance and hardware installation, and the top panel provision for a fan and cable conduit improves ventilation and cable management without modifying the enclosure.
Mount the cabinet securely to a suitable load-bearing wall following local mounting standards and using appropriate anchors and fasteners for the wall material. Install equipment on the supplied rack rails, aligning devices to the marked 4U positions and fastening with standard rack screws. Route power and data cabling through the top conduit or rear/side openings, and if additional cooling is required install a fan in the top provision before closing panels. Use the key lock to limit access to the front door when equipment is in place.
For reliable operation, place the cabinet on a wall with sufficient clearance for ventilation and cable access. Distribute weight evenly within the 30 kg limit and avoid overloading the door when open. If devices generate heat, install a low-noise fan in the top panel and maintain clear airflow paths. Use appropriate grounding and cable strain-relief to protect connectors and ensure safe installation.
