Extralink SFP+ 10G WDM module pair for HP/ARUBA provides a cost-effective solution for duplex 10 Gbps links over a single single-mode fibre using WDM wavelengths 1270 nm and 1330 nm. Each SFP+ transceiver supports up to 10 Gbit/s and a maximum reach of 20 km with LC connectors. The modules include a two-wire I2C serial interface and support digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real‑time access to parameters such as received optical power, laser bias current and transmit power. The electrical interface meets SFI electrical specifications and the receiver outputs PECL/CML serial electrical data, making the modules suitable for use in 10 Gbps Ethernet, SONET/SDH and various 10 Gbps optical channel applications on compatible HP/ARUBA equipment.
