Cable splitter Extralink Splitter 1:16 PLC SC/APC 900um 1m White
Cable splitter Extralink Splitter 1:16 PLC SC/APC 900um 1m White
The Extralink PLC 1:16 0.9mm fiber optic splitter with SC/APC connectors provides passive optical signal distribution for FTTH networks. Designed for symmetrical 1:16 power splitting, the unit uses a 0.9 mm pigtail and is housed in a compact steel box for easy mounting in fiber organizers, couplers or switch enclosures. The splitter comes with SC/APC connectors and is supplied in a blister pack to prevent cable tangling.
The splitter offers uniform 1:16 power distribution with low insertion loss and reliable passive operation, requiring no external power. Its compact steel enclosure and 0.9 mm pigtail allow straightforward installation in standard fiber management panels. SC/APC connectors ensure stable, low-reflection connections compatible with common FTTH equipment.
Mount the compact steel housing in a suitable fiber organizer or enclosure, route the 0.9 mm pigtail cables and connect the SC/APC input to the upstream optical line. Distribute the sixteen SC/APC outputs to subscriber or distribution fibers as required. Ensure connectors are clean before mating and avoid sharp bends or excessive tension on the pigtails during installation.
For optimal performance, use the Extralink 1:16 PLC splitter in controlled environments with appropriate strain relief and fiber management; clean connectors with proper fiber cleaning tools and follow standard FTTH installation practices to minimise insertion loss and back reflections.
