Network Cable Extralink LAN Patchcord Kat.6A RJ-45 Cat6a 5m Blue
Extralink Patchcord LAN network cable, 5 meters long, is a Cat6A S/FTP screened copper patch cable designed for Ethernet networks. The cable supports high-speed data transfer up to 10 Gbps and is terminated with gold-plated, shielded RJ45 connectors. Constructed from four pure-copper twisted pairs and featuring SF/UTP shielding, it also supports powering devices over PoE where applicable. The blue 5 m cable is suitable for connecting routers, switches, computers and VoIP phones and for patch panel use in network racks.
The Extralink Cat6A screened patchcord provides stable high-bandwidth transmission with reduced electromagnetic interference thanks to its shielding and twisted-pair copper construction. Gold-plated RJ45 plugs improve contact reliability while the cable’s high flexibility simplifies routing and installation in cabinets and tight spaces. Its 5 m length covers typical inter-rack or workstation connections without excess slack.
Plug one RJ45 connector into the LAN port of your switch, router or patch panel and the other into the target device such as a computer or VoIP phone. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For PoE devices, confirm that both the switch and the device support the required PoE standard before powering. Route the cable to avoid tight bending radii and mechanical strain.
For reliable performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines to reduce interference, maintain minimum bend radius during installation, and use appropriate cable management in racks and underfloor paths. Verify compatibility with your network equipment and PoE class if using power-over-Ethernet.
