The cable uses ITU-T G.652D optical fibre and a 3 mm FTTH-style jacket, terminated with SC/APC connectors on both ends to provide low insertion loss and high return loss typical of angled physical contact (APC) ferrules. The simplex configuration supplies a single optical path suitable for connecting optical equipment and for linking OLT, ONU/ONT or other terminal devices where a single fibre is required.
