Product description is under construction. Specify the parameters, price and delivery options before buying!
The FLEXA HIP built-in extractor by FABER is a 60 cm kitchen hood designed to remove smoke, grease and cooking odours efficiently. With an air extraction capacity of 420 m3/h and a measured noise level of 60 dB, this built-in unit is intended for installation into kitchen cabinets or a housing cavity to provide discreet ventilation while maintaining effective airflow. The extractor includes a standard filter system to capture grease and particulates and supports both ducted and recirculation configurations depending on installation requirements.
The FLEXA HIP combines compact 60 cm dimensions with a mid-range air throughput of 420 m3/h to balance performance and space constraints. Its standardized filter arrangement simplifies maintenance and replacement. Operating at approximately 60 dB, the unit offers acceptable sound levels for residential kitchens while delivering continuous extraction. Designed for built-in installation, the hood integrates with cabinetry to preserve kitchen aesthetics and minimise visible hardware.
Install the FLEXA HIP extractor according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions, ensuring correct alignment within the cabinet opening and proper connection to the chosen ventilation mode. For ducted operation, connect the exhaust outlet to appropriate ducting with the recommended diameter and secure all joints to avoid air leaks. For recirculation, fit the required charcoal or active carbon filter(s) where applicable. Operate the fan controls to select the required extraction rate for the cooking task, and ensure the unit is switched off when not in use.
Regularly clean or replace the grease filters to maintain extraction performance and reduce noise. If used in recirculation mode, replace the active carbon filters according to the schedule specified by the manufacturer. Ensure ducting runs are as short and straight as possible for optimal airflow, and consult qualified technicians for electrical and ventilation connections to comply with local regulations.
