FANDY Round Brush No. 14 set contains 12 identical round brushes designed for precision work in painting and craft applications. The brushes feature a classic round shape that tapers to a fine point, allowing controlled strokes, fine lines and detailed retouching. The set is intended for users who need multiple consistent brushes for repeated tasks, practice, or classroom and workshop environments.
Advantages
The round shape that tapers to a point provides versatility for both thin lines and broader strokes depending on applied pressure. Having 12 identical brushes in one set ensures consistency across multiple pieces and reduces the need to clean a single brush between colour changes. The size No. 14 offers a balance between reach and control, suitable for medium-detail work.
Suitable for
- Fine detail work and outlining in acrylics, oils and water-based media
- Retouching, glazing and controlled stroke techniques
- Hobby projects, student practice and group workshops
When it may not be suitable
This round brush set is focused on precision and medium-detail tasks; it may not be the best choice for large-area coverage or broad wash techniques where flat or large filbert brushes are more efficient. For very fine miniature work smaller brush sizes would be more appropriate.
Key specifications
- Brush type: round with a tapered point
- Set quantity: 12 identical brushes
- Size: No. 14 (medium-detail range)
- Suitable media: acrylics, oils, water-based paints and mixed media
How to use
Use the FANDY Round Brush No. 14 for controlled lines and detail by holding the brush closer to the ferrule for precision or farther back for freer strokes. Adjust pressure to vary line width: light pressure for thin lines, increased pressure for broader strokes. Rinse and reshape the tip between colour changes to maintain a fine point. Allow paints to dry on the palette before switching media where cross-contamination could affect results.
What to consider before purchase
- Confirm that size No. 14 matches the level of detail required for your projects
- Consider the media you use (acrylic, oil, water) and whether you need brushes with specific care requirements
- Buying a set of 12 is beneficial for repeated identical tasks, classes or production work
Usage recommendations
For best results, clean brushes after each session with an appropriate cleaner for your paint type, reshape the tip while wet, and store horizontally or tip-up to preserve the bristles. Use a gentle brush soap periodically to extend the life of the brushes.
