Pencil for stone faster tools 04-0-4024 — 240 mm, hardness 4H
Pencil for stone faster tools 04-0-4024 — 240 mm, hardness 4H is a hand marking tool designed for use on stone, masonry and other rough construction surfaces. The pencil features a 240 mm long body and a firm 4H lead that produces precise, fine lines which remain visible on concrete, brick and natural stone. Its shape and length are intended for comfortable handling during layout, cutting guides and site marking tasks.
The 4H hardness lead provides durable, sharp lines that resist smudging on coarse textures and allow accurate transfer of layout points. The length and balance of the pencil improve control when drawing straight guides or marking drilling positions. Its construction is straightforward and robust, suitable for repeated use on job sites without complex maintenance.
Hold the pencil at a slight angle to the work surface and apply steady pressure to create a visible line on stone or masonry. For straight guides, use a ruler or straightedge and draw along the edge with the pencil. Replace or sharpen the lead as needed with an appropriate sharpener or by trimming the pencil body following the tool's design, taking care not to damage the work surface. When marking drilling points, make small clear dots rather than heavy strokes to preserve accuracy.
Store the pencil in a dry place and protect the tip from impacts to maintain the 4H lead integrity. For extremely porous or dusty surfaces, test the mark on a scrap piece to ensure visibility; when deeper contrast is required, consider combining this pencil with a contrasting dust- or paint-based marker for temporary, high-visibility marks.
