F&F CKF-TRMS Phase Sequence and Loss Monitoring Relay
F&F CKF-TRMS Phase Sequence and Loss Monitoring Relay
The F&F CKF-TRMS is a professional phase sequence and loss monitoring relay engineered to safeguard three-phase electrical installations. By continuously monitoring the power supply, this device detects phase loss, incorrect phase sequence, and voltage asymmetry. Utilizing True RMS measurement technology, the relay provides precise monitoring of the actual voltage values, ensuring reliable protection for motors, compressors, and sensitive electronic equipment in both industrial and residential environments.
The primary benefit of the CKF-TRMS is its ability to prevent costly equipment damage caused by unstable power conditions. Its True RMS measurement capability allows for accurate detection of voltage fluctuations even in non-sinusoidal waveforms, which is critical for modern electrical systems. The device features a compact design for easy installation on standard DIN rails and provides clear status indication, allowing for rapid diagnostics and maintenance of the electrical network.
This relay is specifically designed for three-phase systems and cannot be used in single-phase electrical installations. It is not intended for use in environments with extreme moisture or high levels of conductive dust unless housed in an appropriate protective enclosure.
The relay should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local safety regulations. It is mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail within the distribution cabinet. Connect the three phases to the designated input terminals. Once powered, the device automatically begins monitoring the supply. If the phase sequence is correct and all phases are present within the defined parameters, the internal relay contacts will close, allowing the connected equipment to operate. If a fault is detected, the relay will disconnect the output to protect the downstream load.
Regularly inspect the status indicators on the front panel to ensure the system is operating within normal parameters. If the relay trips, investigate the power supply source for phase loss or asymmetry before resetting the device.
