Garden cultivator Fieldmann FZK 2002-E electric
Fieldmann FZK 2002-E electric garden cultivator is a compact corded tool intended for soil tilling, aeration and seedbed preparation in small to medium gardens and allotments. The unit is powered by a 750 W electric motor and features a 32 cm working width with four steel tines that have a diameter of 20 cm. Designed for straightforward operation and easy maneuvering, the cultivator includes a folding handle and a light 8 kg weight to simplify transport and storage.
The electric drive delivers consistent power with low maintenance compared to combustion engines, while the 750 W motor is suitable for loosening compacted topsoil and mixing compost into planting beds. A 32 cm working width balances coverage and control, and the four steel knives provide effective soil penetration and mixing. The folding handle reduces storage space requirements and the 8 kg curb weight improves maneuverability for single-person use.
Before use, inspect the working area and remove stones, branches and other obstacles. Connect the cultivator to a suitable outdoor-rated extension cord and a grounded power outlet. Set the machine on firm ground, hold the handle with both hands, and start the motor following the manufacturer's safety controls. Guide the cultivator slowly across the bed, allowing the tines to penetrate and mix the topsoil; make overlapping passes for even coverage. After finishing, switch off and unplug the unit before cleaning or adjusting the tines.
For best results use the Fieldmann FZK 2002-E on moist but not waterlogged soil and avoid working in heavy clay when extremely dry. Regularly check and clear tines of debris and store the cultivator with the handle folded to save space. Use an outdoor-rated extension cord appropriate for the motor power and follow local safety regulations when operating electric garden equipment.
