How to use

Connect the corded trimmer to an appropriate mains supply using a safe outdoor extension cable if required, and check that the supplied spool of trimmer line is correctly installed in the head. Adjust the head angle to suit the working position and, where appropriate, fit the support wheels for longer runs on open areas. Hold the unit with both hands, keep the cutting head parallel to the ground for even trimming, and move the trimmer in a steady sweeping motion. Use the guide on the head to protect ornamental plants and slow the unit or switch off the power before passing close to delicate features.

Usage recommendations

Use a properly rated outdoor extension lead and a residual current device (RCD) for safety. Wear eye protection, gloves and appropriate footwear during operation.
