How to use

Drill a 10 mm hole to the required depth, respecting the variable anchorage depth for the load and substrate. For the FAZ II Plus anchor, cleaning the drill hole is not required for diameters M8–M24; insert the anchor in pre-positioned or push-through mode and, if needed, use the long thread for stand-off installation. Apply the prescribed torque so that the cone bolt is pulled into the expansion sleeve and the sleeve expands against the drill hole wall; the anchor is set once the preset installation torque is reached. For series installations, use the recommended FABS or FA-ST II setting tools.

Usage recommendations

For seismic installations and where specified by approval, consider using the filling disc (FFD) to fill the annular gap; follow the ETA and other relevant test reports for spacing, edge distances and installation torques to ensure compliance with required load and fire performance.
