Chemical Anchor FIS VL 300T by FISCHER — injection resin anchoring system
FISCHER chemical anchor FIS VL 300T is an injection resin anchoring system designed for creating bonded anchors in concrete and masonry. The product is intended for fixing threaded rods and reinforcing bars where mechanical anchors are not suitable or where a higher load transfer and creep resistance is required. The epoxy-based formulation provides strong adhesion to mineral substrates and is suitable for use in structural connections, façade fixtures, railings and other heavy-duty load-bearing fixings.
The FIS VL 300T chemical anchor offers high bond strength and reliable load transfer in cracked and non-cracked concrete as well as in solid masonry. Its injection application allows for precise filling of drilled holes and voids, reducing the risk of installation defects. The resin system demonstrates good chemical and temperature resistance, long-term stability under sustained loads and compatibility with common threaded rods and rebar sizes used in construction.
Drill the hole to the required diameter and depth, then clean thoroughly using brushes and blow-out pumps to remove drill dust and debris. Prepare the dispenser and static mixer according to the manufacturer's instructions, attach the cartridge and extrude until a uniform color is achieved to ensure correct mixing. Inject the resin from the back of the hole moving outward to avoid air pockets, then insert the threaded rod or rebar with a slow rotary motion to ensure full encapsulation. Observe the specified curing time before applying load, taking into account substrate temperature and resin pot life as they affect curing.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, follow ventilation and handling guidelines for epoxy resins, and refer to the manufacturer's technical data for hole diameters, embedment depths and design values. For critical or safety-related anchors, verify load requirements and follow relevant structural design standards or consult a qualified engineer.
