Fiskars QuikDrill™ M is the medium-sized model of the Fiskars Soil Drill, designed for tasks such as planting perennials, aerating soil, mixing compost and installing medium-sized posts. The QuikDrill™ creates clean, smooth-edged holes and is less likely to get stuck on small stones or roots thanks to its dual cutting blades and robust shaft construction. The handle is made from FiberComp™ for high strength, and the steel tube shaft provides durability during digging. The working diameter of this model is 150 mm.

How to use

Position the QuikDrill™ M vertically over the intended spot and apply steady downward pressure while turning the tool to allow the dual blades to cut and remove soil. Continue drilling until the required depth is reached, then lift the tool to clear the extracted soil. For installing posts or larger plantings, repeat drilling at each required location. Regularly inspect the blades and shaft, and replace or attach Plus Parts as needed.

Recommendations

Use the QuikDrill™ M on relatively loose or moderately compacted soils for best performance; remove large stones and roots before drilling when possible. Store the tool dry and check the blade condition periodically to maintain cutting efficiency.
