Garden rake Fiskars 135051 Black Orange Plastic
Garden rake Fiskars 135051 Black Orange Plastic
The Fiskars 135051 garden rake combines lightweight plastic construction with a 152 mm working width and a distinctive black-and-orange design. Designed as a QuikFit-compatible Universal Rake head, it is suitable for raking leaves and light debris, clearing long loose grass, and preparing planting beds. The rake features 12 FiberComp™ teeth set at an angle to improve ergonomic posture and raking efficiency while being gentle on soil and plant roots. It attaches to standard shafts, offering straightforward compatibility for garden maintenance tasks.
The plastic head provides a balance of durability and low weight, reducing user fatigue during repetitive tasks. Angled FiberComp™ teeth increase raking power without excessive force and help maintain a natural posture. The gentle plastic teeth minimise soil disturbance and protect young roots and seedlings. QuikFit compatibility allows the head to be used with a variety of standard shafts, giving flexibility in tool setup and storage.
Attach the rake head to a compatible standard shaft until it locks securely. Use the rake with a light, controlled pulling motion to gather leaves, grass clippings and surface debris. When preparing planting beds, level the soil by pulling the head evenly across the surface and use short, firm strokes to distribute and pack the top layer. Avoid forcing the rake into very compacted ground; instead, loosen soil first with a fork or cultivator and then finish with the rake.
For best results, use the Fiskars 135051 garden rake on light to medium tasks and softer soils. Pair the head with a shaft of appropriate length for your height to maintain ergonomic posture. Clean debris from the teeth after each use and store the tool indoors or in a dry place to prolong the life of the plastic components.
