Bypass lopper Fiskars LX92 Cutting diameter 3.8 cm
Bypass lopper Fiskars LX92 Cutting diameter 3.8 cm
The Fiskars PowerGear™ X bypass lopper is built for frequent cutting of fresh wood. Its patented PowerGear mechanism multiplies cutting force, enabling tougher cuts with less effort. The tool combines precision-ground stainless steel blades with a PTFE friction-reducing coating for smooth, efficient cutting, and features a weather-resistant aluminium shaft that is both lightweight and strong. Ergonomic SoftGrip handles with 3D-contour molding improve hold and reduce the effort required to control the tool.
The PowerGear mechanism delivers up to three times more cutting force compared with conventional loppers, which makes it easier to cut thicker branches. Precision-ground stainless steel blades maintain a sharp edge and resist corrosion, while the PTFE coating reduces friction for cleaner, smoother cuts. The aluminium shaft offers durability without excessive weight, and the SoftGrip handles with 3D contouring provide a comfortable, secure grip that reduces hand fatigue during repeated use.
Position the bypass blades around the branch so the cutting action moves past the supporting blade. Hold the lopper firmly by the SoftGrip handles and apply steady pressure to the handles to engage the PowerGear mechanism; the increased force will make cutting easier. For best results, cut branches within the tool's intended range and keep blades clean and lightly oiled to maintain performance. Store the lopper in a dry place to protect the aluminium shaft and steel blades.
Use the Fiskars PowerGear™ X bypass lopper for regular pruning of live wood up to the recommended branch thickness, clean blades after use, and inspect the mechanism periodically to ensure consistent cutting performance.
