Water pump Flo 79930, submersible, 40 W, 230 V, IPX8, 10 m cable
Flo 79930 is a 40 W submersible water pump designed for 230 V AC / 50 Hz mains. The pump has IPX8 protection for continuous underwater operation and comes with a 10 m power cable and a compact 2.15 kg body. It is intended for draining small volumes of water, maintaining garden ponds and fountains, and performing temporary water removal in domestic and light outdoor situations.
The pump combines low power consumption with sufficient performance for small-scale water transfer tasks. Its IPX8 rating ensures safe and continuous underwater use, while the long 10 m power cable increases installation flexibility. The compact and lightweight design simplifies handling, placement and temporary storage.
Install the pump fully submerged in the water to be drained or circulated, ensuring the power cable reaches a properly rated outdoor socket or RCD-protected supply. Place the pump on a stable surface free of large debris that could obstruct the inlet. Connect a discharge hose or piping to the outlet and route it to an appropriate drainage point. After confirming secure electrical connections and that the pump is submerged, switch on the mains supply. Monitor the pump during initial operation to confirm correct flow and stable positioning. Turn off power before moving the pump or performing any maintenance.
Use the pump for water containing minimal solids; avoid pumping sand, heavy mud or large debris to prevent blockage or premature wear. Make sure the power supply is protected by a residual-current device (RCD) when used outdoors. Store the unit dry and frost-free when not in use, and rinse the exterior after pumping dirty water to prolong service life.
