Pruning shears Flo 99101, bypass lopper, length 430 mm, 1 pc
Flo 99101 pruning shears are bypass-style loppers with a total length of 430 mm, supplied as a single unit for manual garden and orchard use. Designed to deliver controlled, precise cuts, these shears are suitable for trimming shrubs, small trees and ornamental plants. The tool combines a comfortable handle, wear-resistant manganese steel blades and a PTFE-coated surface to reduce friction during cutting.
The bypass cutting mechanism enables accurate, clean cuts that help preserve plant health by avoiding tearing. Manganese steel (65 Mn) blades provide high resistance to wear and maintain a sharp edge under regular use. The PTFE coating on the blade surface reduces friction and sap buildup, improving cutting comfort and making maintenance easier. An ergonomically shaped, pleasant-to-the-touch handle supports longer work sessions with improved grip and control. With a maximum cutting diameter of 25 mm, these shears cover common pruning tasks for home gardens and small orchards.
Position the bypass blades around the branch as close to the stem as practical without crushing the bark. Make a single, firm cutting motion to produce a clean cut; avoid sawing actions that may damage the blade or plant. For branches close to the maximum cutting diameter, cut gradually from the underside to reduce splitting. After use, wipe the blades clean of sap and debris and store the shears in a dry place to protect the blades and coating.
Use gloves and eye protection during pruning operations. Regularly inspect and sharpen the blades to maintain cutting performance; apply a light oil film to the blade surfaces occasionally to prevent corrosion and preserve the PTFE coating. Do not attempt to cut branches larger than 25 mm in diameter to avoid damage to the tool and unsafe working conditions.
