Pruning Shears Flo 99191 Anvil Pruner 200 mm, PTFE-coated Blade
Pruning Shears Flo 99191 Anvil Pruner 200 mm, PTFE-coated Blade
Flo 99191 Anvil Pruner is a 200 mm garden pruning shear with a PTFE-coated cutting blade, designed for trimming shrubs, roses and cutting dry or woody stems. The anvil-style head has a toothed anvil that helps hold branches in place for a controlled single-cut action. The tool is supplied as a single-piece pack and is intended for general garden pruning tasks.
The anvil construction provides strong, one-motion cuts on dry wood while the toothed anvil improves grip on branches to reduce slipping. The blade is made from high-carbon 65 MN steel and finished with a PTFE (Teflon) coating to reduce friction and sticking. At 200 mm overall length the pruner offers a compact, easy-to-handle form factor for basic pruning and trimming.
Anvil pruners are optimised for dry or dead wood and single-cut actions; they are not intended for precision cutting of live soft growth where bypass pruners give cleaner cuts. This tool is not suitable for branches thicker than approximately 19 mm or for heavy-duty arboricultural work.
Position the branch against the toothed anvil, align the blade where you want the cut, and close the handles in a single firm motion to make a clean cut on dry wood. For best results work with the cutting capacity in mind — avoid forcing cuts on thicker branches. After use wipe the blade clean, remove sap or debris from the anvil, and store the pruner in a dry place to preserve the coating and steel.
Use this Flo anvil pruner for regular light pruning tasks—trim dead stems, prune roses and shape shrubs within the stated cutting capacity, clean the blade after each session, and avoid cutting live green stems thicker than recommended to reduce damage to plants.
