Pruning shears Flo 99203, bypass secateurs, 205 mm length, 1 pc
Flo 99203 pruning shears are bypass secateurs with a compact 205 mm total length supplied as a single unit. They are intended for cutting small branches and stems in gardens, orchards and potted plants. The tool combines a scissor-style cutting geometry for close trimming with a blade suitable for branches up to approximately 15 mm in diameter, making it practical for general pruning, shaping shrubs and harvesting flowers or fruit.
The bypass design produces clean cuts that help preserve plant tissue and promote healthy regrowth. A 65 Mn steel blade provides wear resistance and maintains a sharp edge for repeated use. The compact 205 mm length and scissor-style blade layout enable precise access in dense foliage and tight spaces, while the single-piece supply simplifies selection and replacement.
Hold the shears with a comfortable grip and position the bypass blades so the cutting blade passes close to the stem against the opposing blade to achieve a clean cut. For branches near the maximum capacity, cut at a slight angle and avoid twisting the tool during the cut. Clean the blade after use to remove sap and debris and keep the shears dry to limit corrosion. Regularly inspect the blade edge and tighten any fasteners if the blades become misaligned.
Use these shears for routine light to medium pruning tasks. For woody branches thicker than 15 mm, choose a larger pruning tool to avoid damaging the blades. To extend blade life, wipe blades after each use and apply a light oil film for storage. When precision cuts are required near buds or delicate stems, work slowly and make slight angled cuts to promote healthy regrowth.
