Power Supply Unit FSP Twins PRO 500W 20+4 pin ATX PS/2 Black
The Power Supply Unit FSP Twins PRO 500W 20+4 pin ATX PS/2 Black is a redundant dual-module PSU designed for standard ATX or PS/2 chassis. It delivers a combined 500W output, supports a wide AC input range of 100–240V at 50–60Hz, and features an 80 PLUS Gold efficiency rating. The unit includes common connector types such as a 20+4 pin ATX, plus CPU, PCIe and SATA cables, and is intended for server-class applications including home, mail and web servers where continuous operation and hot-swap capability are important.
The Twins PRO design uses two hot-swappable power modules that share the load and provide redundancy: if one module fails, the other immediately takes over to prevent system downtime. The 80 PLUS Gold certification ensures higher energy efficiency and lower heat generation under typical loads. Built-in features such as a power cord locking device and a black ribbon cable layout improve operational stability and cable management while supporting longer component life. Two 4 cm fans provide active cooling for reliable thermal control in compact server environments. The unit can also be monitored via a USB header when used with compatible monitoring software.
Install the Twins PRO modules into a compatible ATX or PS/2 chassis following the chassis manufacturer’s instructions. Connect the 20+4 pin ATX cable to the motherboard and attach CPU, PCIe and SATA cables to the corresponding components. Ensure the AC mains connection uses the power cord locking device to prevent accidental disconnection. If desired, connect the PSU’s USB header to a monitoring-capable motherboard or controller and configure compatible software for real-time status and alerts. Hot-swap replacement of a failed module can be performed while the system remains powered by the remaining module; follow static-safety and hot-swap guidance from the chassis and module documentation.
Use the FSP Twins PRO 500W in server or always-on environments where uninterrupted operation is required. Maintain adequate airflow in the chassis, keep intake/exhaust paths clear, and monitor module status with compatible software if continuous logging or temperature alerts are necessary. Replace a failed module promptly with a compatible unit and follow standard hot-swap procedures to preserve redundancy.
