Sketchbook Fresh Szkicownik 197×124 mm, 72 sheets, 120 g/m², wire-bound
Fresh Szkicownik is a wire-bound sketchbook with compact dimensions of 197×124 mm and 72 sheets of 120 g/m² drawing paper. The medium-weight textured paper is suitable for a variety of dry and wet media and the spiral binding lets pages lie flat for uninterrupted work. Its portable size makes it convenient for field sketches, classroom use and everyday studies, while the neutral surface supports pencil detail, ink lines, markers and light watercolor washes.
The 120 g/m² paper balances durability and portability, reducing bleed-through while remaining easy to work on with pencils and pens. Wire binding permits full page opening and easy removal of sheets when needed. The textured surface provides slight tooth for controlled shading and layering, and the 72-sheet capacity offers a practical number of pages without significant bulk, making the sketchbook suitable for carrying in a bag or portfolio.
Work on a firm surface and open the wire binding fully to allow the pages to lie flat. Use graphite and colored pencils for detailed studies, apply ink or technical pens for line work, and test markers on a corner page to check for bleed-through. When using light watercolor washes, apply minimal water and allow each layer to dry before adding further detail to avoid buckling. Remove sheets cleanly by gently tearing along the perforation or uncoiling the wire if full removal is required.
For best results with mixed media, protect adjacent pages with a scrap sheet and allow ink or marker layers to dry completely before closing the sketchbook. When working outdoors, use a clip or weighted board to prevent pages from turning in the wind.
