Galmet wall-mounted hot water storage tank SGW(S) 140 L with spiral heat exchanger, right-side connection, electric controller (06-144770)
The Galmet wall-mounted hot water storage tank SGW(S) 140 L is a compact domestic hot water accumulator with an integrated spiral heat exchanger and right-side hydraulic connections. Designed for indirect heating from a boiler, heat pump or solar thermal system, this 140-liter tank stores and supplies DHW while enabling efficient heat transfer via the coil heat exchanger. An electric controller is provided for temperature regulation and convenient operation. The wall-mounted format is intended for installations with limited floor space where a reliable indirect hot water solution is required.
The tank’s integrated spiral heat exchanger allows efficient transfer of heat from an external heat source without mixing system fluids. Right-side hydraulic connections simplify piping layout during installation in many standard residential configurations. The included electric controller offers straightforward temperature management and protection of the stored water temperature. Wall mounting reduces floor footprint and provides flexible siting in utility rooms, bathrooms or kitchens. Construction materials and appropriate insulation help reduce standby heat losses and maintain stored water temperature.
Connect the spiral heat exchanger to the external heat source (boiler, solar circuit or heat pump) following hydraulic diagrams and local plumbing codes. Connect cold water inlet and hot water outlet to the domestic supply network using the right-side connections provided. Use the electric controller to set the required storage temperature and monitor the operating status. Follow commissioning procedures to purge air from the coil and tank, check for leaks, and verify correct controller operation before regular use.
Install the unit on a suitably strong wall or mounting frame, ensuring access for maintenance and adherence to local regulations. Use corrosion protection and water treatment measures if required by local water quality. For best performance, size piping and the heat source to match the tank capacity and intended DHW demand, and schedule periodic inspections of insulation, connections and controller settings.
