Scale model accessory Gamers Grass GG4-SW plants — green, 144 pieces
Gamers Grass GG4-SW plants set includes 144 ready-made tufts in green with darker brownish bases, supplied on a peel-off sheet for straightforward application. The tufts have green tips and deeper tones at the base to imitate low sedges, rushes and grass-like herbs found in swamps, bogs and marshes. The sheet contains around 70 distinct shapes and sizes that can be combined with other colours and scales to create natural-looking gradients and varied groundcover in model railways, wargaming boards, architectural mock-ups and miniature dioramas.
The tufts are pre-shaped and ready to use directly from the sheet, saving time compared with individually crafting foliage. Colour variation between the green tips and darker bases delivers visual depth and realistic shadowing at scale. Multiple shapes and sizes on a single sheet give flexibility for different terrain features, and the small format is suitable for fine-scale modelling where precise placement matters.
Carefully peel individual tufts from the backing sheet and position them on your model surface. For best adhesion, apply a small drop of PVA or hobby glue to the base of each tuft before placing it. Press gently to ensure the tuft sits flush with the terrain. Combine tufts of different sizes and colours to form natural groupings, and trim any excess fibres with sharp scissors if required to match your chosen scale.
Place tufts in small clusters or along edges of water features to simulate marsh vegetation; mix with shorter static grass or flock for transitional groundcover. Test adhesion on scrap material if using solvent-based glues, and store unused sheets flat and away from direct sunlight to preserve colour and shape.
