Water Pump Gardena 9023-61
The Gardena 9023-61 water pump is a garden pump designed to move water efficiently for irrigation, drainage and water transfer tasks. It delivers up to 3700 l/h with a maximum operating pressure of 4.1 bar and a delivery head of 41 m. The pump is driven by an 800 W AC motor and has an IPX4 protection rating for outdoor use. A 1.5 m power cable provides placement flexibility near power outlets while keeping the unit suitable for typical garden installations.
The pump combines a high flow rate and significant delivery head to support a range of gardening applications from sprinkling to filling containers. Its 800 W motor delivers consistent performance, while the IPX4 splash protection improves durability in exposed outdoor conditions. Compact design and a moderate cable length make the unit straightforward to position and connect without complex additional accessories. The specification balance supports both continuous watering and periodic water transfer tasks.
Position the pump on a stable, level surface close to a suitable power outlet and the water source. Connect inlet and outlet hoses securely, ensuring hose diameters match the pump fittings and that all connections are watertight. Before starting, check that the pump is free of debris and that the impeller can rotate without obstruction. Plug the pump into a correctly rated AC supply and switch on according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Monitor the system for correct flow and pressure during initial operation and periodically inspect hoses and connections for leaks.
Use the pump with clean water free of large solids or abrasive particles to extend service life. Avoid running the unit dry; ensure a continuous water supply while operating. For prolonged outdoor installations, provide weather shelter or raised placement to reduce direct exposure to heavy rain and soil. Follow local electrical safety rules and consult a qualified electrician for permanent wiring or if a residual-current device (RCD) is required.
