The GARDENA Micro-Drip-Irrigation Hedge/Bush Set (25 m) provides water-efficient irrigation for hedges, bushes, shrubs and front-garden plant rows. The Ready-2-Use set contains all components needed for immediate installation: connect the Master Unit 1000 to the tap, attach the 25 m Drip Irrigation Line and lay it to your plants. The Drip Irrigation Line can be installed above ground using the included Peg Pipes or hidden below ground; its integrated labyrinth technology with root barrier prevents clogging. Every 30 cm a pressure-compensating Drip Head delivers a constant 1.6 litres/hour to ensure uniform watering regardless of height differences. The system is compatible with separately available 13 mm Quick & Easy connectors for flexible expansion and reconfiguration, and can be combined with GARDENA Water Control units for automatic irrigation.

How to use

Connect the Master Unit 1000 to an outdoor tap, then attach the 25 m Drip Irrigation Line to the Master Unit. Lay the line along the hedge or plant row; if mounting above ground, fix it into place with the included Peg Pipes. If you choose to bury the line, place it below ground where it will remain out of sight and benefit from the labyrinth technology that reduces clogging. Ensure the line runs alongside the root zone so the pressure-compensating drip heads deliver 1.6 l/h directly to the plants.

For best results, design the layout before installation and test the system at low pressure.
