Submersible Pump Gardena 6000/5
The Gardena 6000/5 submersible pump is engineered for extracting and transferring water from wells, deep sumps and cisterns. It is suitable for continuous use at depths up to 19 m and can deliver water to a maximum delivery head of 50 m. With an AC input voltage of 220–240 V and a frequency of 50 Hz, the unit combines stable electrical performance with a compact form factor and a service weight of 8.25 kg.
The pump provides reliable pumping capacity for domestic and light-commercial applications, featuring stable hydraulic performance at varying depths. Its rated operating parameters enable efficient vertical lift and long-distance delivery while the moderate weight and compact design simplify installation and handling. Built for submerged operation, the pump offers continuous operation capability and consistent water output under rated conditions.
Install the pump fully submerged in the water source at a depth not exceeding the specified maximum submersion depth. Ensure the discharge connection and piping are appropriate for the expected delivery head and that the electrical supply matches the rated AC 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Secure the pump to prevent movement during operation and connect the discharge line with suitable fittings to avoid leaks. Start the pump briefly to check flow direction and system tightness; then run the pump under normal load conditions. Follow local electrical safety rules and disconnect power before performing any inspection or maintenance.
Operate the pump with adequate water coverage to the intake to avoid dry running. Use strainers or appropriate inlet protection if the water source contains debris. For extended pump life, monitor operating temperature and avoid continuous operation near the maximum delivery head if system backpressure is high. Perform periodic inspection of electrical connections and seals according to professional maintenance intervals.
