In this set you get two GARDENA hose fittings: a Hose Connector for the start of the hose and a Water Stop for the hose end. The colour coding — a light-coloured connector for the tap end and a dark-coloured Water Stop for the hose end — helps to label and assemble connections quickly. Both fittings are frost-proof, manufactured in Germany and covered by a GARDENA 5-year warranty.

Advantages

The Hose Connector features an elastic protective ring at the hose end and a specially shaped union nut with Power Grip for a secure, high-pressure-resistant connection. Grooved soft-plastic grip recesses provide a firm hold even with wet hands, and the connector is designed for quick release with a simple pull. The Water Stop includes an automatic shut-off that immediately stops water flow when a watering accessory is removed and restarts only when a new accessory is attached, eliminating the need to return to the tap when changing tools.

How to use

Attach the Hose Connector to the tap end of your garden hose by pushing the hose onto the connector and tightening the union nut until the Power Grip secures the hose. Fit the elastic protective ring over the hose end to prevent damage. Attach the Water Stop to the opposite end of the hose by pushing the hose on and securing it similarly. To change watering accessories, pull off the accessory from the Water Stop — the water flow will stop automatically — then connect the new accessory to resume water flow.

Usage recommendations
