The GARDENA blinds brush for a garden hose is a tool for efficient cleaning of slats on blinds and shutters. It connects directly to a garden hose and encloses an individual slat from both sides so that water exits through the upper and lower bristles to remove dirt and dust in a single pass. The brush is suitable for C- and Z-shaped slats with a maximum slat width of 8 cm and a minimum spacing of 5 cm between slats.

Advantages

The design enables quick and thorough cleaning of shutters and venetian blinds without the need for multiple manual wipes. A 90° rotatable head allows convenient access to low or floor-length slats without the handle touching the ground. The integrated water connector and permanent lock allow a continuous water flow to reduce hand strain, while the supply can be stopped as needed. The brush can also be combined with GARDENA shampoo wax sticks (Art. 989) by inserting the stick into the connector after removing the filter so that cleaning solution is mixed directly with the water.

How to use

Attach the blinds brush to your garden hose using the water connector. Align the brush so it encloses the slat to be cleaned, then open the water flow. Use the permanent lock for a continuous flow if desired. For low or floor-length blinds, rotate the head up to 90° to reach the bottom slat without the handle touching the floor. Stop the water supply to end cleaning.

Usage recommendations

For improved cleaning results on very dirty slats, use GARDENA Shampoo Wax Sticks (Art. 989): remove the filter, insert the stick into the connection nipple and run water to mix and distribute the cleaning solution across the slats.
