Water pump GEKO MINI with float for dirty water
The GEKO MINI submersible water pump with float is designed for removing dirty or contaminated water from small flooded areas, construction sites and similar locations. The compact plastic housing and integrated automatic float switch allow for simple installation and hands-free operation: the pump starts when water rises and stops when the level falls. The unit is intended for pumping water that contains suspended solids within the limits for household and light construction use.
This GEKO MINI model offers a compact, lightweight design making it easy to carry and position in confined spaces. The built-in float switch provides automatic on/off control to prevent dry running and reduce manual monitoring. The pump's plastic construction resists corrosion and enables use in environments with abrasive particles typical for dirty water applications. Its straightforward outlet connection simplifies hose attachment for fast drainage.
Place the pump on a stable surface at the lowest point of the flooded area or sump. Attach an appropriate discharge hose to the outlet and route it to a suitable drainage point. Ensure the float switch can move freely and is not obstructed by debris. Connect the power supply following local electrical safety regulations and allow the pump to operate automatically; the float switch will switch the pump on when water rises and off when water level drops. Regularly inspect the intake area for large debris that could block the intake or inhibit float movement.
Use the pump for temporary drainage tasks and avoid continuous long-term operation; clear large debris from the work area before use and select a suitable discharge hose diameter to maintain optimal flow. Store the pump in a dry place when not in use and follow the manufacturer's safety and maintenance instructions for electrical connections and cleaning.
