Outlet box Gembird NCAC-1F6-01, white, dimensions 53×40×30 mm
Gembird NCAC-1F6-01 is a compact white outlet box designed for single-port RJ-45 keystone jacks. With external dimensions of 53 × 40 × 30 mm and a lightweight construction (0.028 kg), this surface-mount enclosure provides a neat, protected housing for network terminations in offices, server rooms or home networks. The box is supplied assembled for a single keystone jack and includes mounting screws and adhesive tape for flexible installation options.
The enclosure offers a small footprint and unobtrusive appearance suitable for visible wall or desk installations. Its plastic construction keeps weight and cost low while providing mechanical protection for the connector and cable entry. Inclusion of mounting screws and adhesive tape gives installers a choice between permanent and non-permanent attachment methods, and the assembled keystone format simplifies termination and maintenance.
Mount the boxed keystone jack on a clean, dry surface using the supplied screws for permanent installation or the adhesive tape for temporary placement. Insert a compatible RJ-45 keystone jack into the aperture and secure it according to the keystone product instructions. Route the cable through the box opening, terminate the cable to the keystone jack, then close the enclosure and fix it in place. Ensure the mounted position allows sufficient cable bend radius and access for maintenance.
For best results, use a standard Cat5e or Cat6 keystone jack rated for your network speed and check that wall surfaces are flat and load-bearing before applying adhesive tape. When installing in high-traffic or vibration-prone locations, prefer the screw-mounted option to maintain a stable connection.
