Network splitter Gembird NCAC-2U5E-01 Cat5e female connectors white
Gembird NCAC-2U5E-01 is a compact Cat5e network splitter with female RJ45 connectors in a white housing. Designed to split an existing Ethernet run, this passive adapter allows two devices to share a single Cat5e cable run where network topology and cabling permit. The small footprint and neutral white colour make it suitable for visible locations in homes and offices where a discreet connection point is needed.
The device provides a simple and space-saving way to extend connectivity without installing a switch or running additional cables. As a passive Cat5e splitter with female RJ45 ports, it maintains compatibility with standard Cat5e patch cords and Ethernet devices. Lightweight construction and a compact profile enable easy placement near wall outlets or inside cable management boxes.
This passive splitter does not perform network switching, routing, or signal boosting. It is not suitable where simultaneous full-duplex connections of both ports are required or where network speed and performance must be preserved for multiple active devices. For multi-device networks requiring independent simultaneous connections, a powered network switch or a structured cabling change is recommended.
Connect one end of an existing Cat5e cable to the incoming network source and use the two female RJ45 ports on the splitter to attach patch cords to the destination devices. Ensure only one of the paired device connections is active at any one time if you need full network performance, or use the splitter in combination with a compatible paired splitter on the opposite end of the cable for two-line wiring configurations. Handle the adapter gently and avoid excessive bending of connected cables to preserve connector integrity.
For reliable results, use quality Cat5e patch cords and avoid running the splitter in locations exposed to moisture or mechanical stress. If you need simultaneous connections for multiple devices with maintained performance, select a small unmanaged Ethernet switch instead of a passive splitter.
