Gembird Cablexpert NPP-C548CM-001 Cat5e Black Ethernet Cable
The Gembird Cablexpert NPP-C548CM-001 Cat5e Black Ethernet Cable is a 48-port, 19" rack-mount patch panel designed for high-density network installations. It features 110-type termination compatible with EIA/TIA T568B and T568A wiring standards, 50µ gold-plated contacts, and a black electrostatic powder-coated steel housing. The panel accommodates top, bottom or side cable entry and includes a write-on designation label and a rear cover with a wire management bar to preserve cable bend radius and provide strain relief.
The patch panel offers space-saving, high-density 19" design suitable for standard racks and cabinets, durable 50µ gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission, and a robust powder-coated steel construction for long-term use. Flexible cable entry options and an integrated wire management bar simplify installation and maintain cable integrity, while the front write-on label holder enables clear port identification.
Install the panel into any standard 19" rack or cabinet using appropriate mounting hardware. Route cables through the chosen entry (top, bottom or side) and terminate each cable pair on the 110-type IDC terminations following the EIA/TIA T568B or T568A wiring scheme. Use the rear wire management bar to secure and guide patch cables, maintaining correct bend radius and providing strain relief. Label ports using the front write-on designation label holder for straightforward identification.
For optimal performance, use Cat5e-rated cables and ensure terminations are performed with proper tools and techniques. Maintain bend radius recommendations and avoid excessive tension on cables to preserve signal integrity and prolong service life.
