Patch panel GEMBIRD Cat.6 24-port with rear cable management
GEMBIRD Cablexpert Cat.6 24-port patch panel provides a high-density, rack-mountable termination point for structured Ethernet installations. The 19" panel offers 24 Cat.6 RJ45 ports with 110-type termination and 50µ gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission. Constructed from black electrostatic powder-coated steel, the panel includes an integrated rear cover and cable management bar to protect cable bend radius and provide strain relief. A write-on designation label with a clear holder on the front simplifies port identification and documentation.
The panel combines space-saving 24-port density with universal 19" mounting compatibility, supporting top, bottom or side cable entry to suit different rack layouts. 110-type termination and EIA/TIA T568B/A wiring support ensure standard-compliant connectivity, while 50µ gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and maintain consistent electrical contact. The rear cable management bar and cover organise patch cables, reduce mechanical stress and simplify maintenance.
Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack or cabinet using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Route permanent links or patch cables to the preferred entry point (top, bottom or side) and secure them behind the panel using the rear cover and wire management bar to maintain correct bend radius. Terminate each cable pair onto the 110-type IDC points following the EIA/TIA T568B or T568A colour code. Label each port using the write-on designation strip to document connections and simplify future changes.
Use certified Cat.6 cable and maintain recommended bend radii near the cable management bar to preserve signal performance. Avoid exceeding cable length limits for Ethernet runs and perform continuity and certification testing after termination to verify performance.
