Networking cable Gembird PP6A-LSZHCU-V-3M RJ-45 Cat6a 3m Purple
The Gembird PP6A-LSZHCU-V-3M RJ-45 Cat6a 3m Purple is a 3-meter networking patch cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. This Cat6a cable uses S/FTP construction with foil shielding around each pair and an overall braided shield to minimise electromagnetic interference and maintain consistent throughput. It features gold-plated RJ-45 contacts, molded strain reliefs and snagless boots for secure connections and extended connector life. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces toxic fumes and smoke in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations where safety standards require reduced emissions.
This Cat6a patch cord provides improved signal integrity through pair-level foil shielding and a braided outer shield, reducing crosstalk and external interference for stable Gigabit and multi-Gigabit performance. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable contact resistance and corrosion resistance over time. The LSZH outer jacket limits smoke and halogen emissions in confined spaces. Molded strain reliefs and snagless boots reduce mechanical stress on the RJ-45 connectors during insertion and removal, increasing durability.
Connect one RJ-45 end of the Gembird Cat6a cable to the Ethernet port of your device and the other end to a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a proper physical and electrical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; use cable management accessories to secure runs and maintain minimum bend radii. The LSZH jacket allows use in indoor installations and areas where low smoke emission is preferred.
For best performance, use this Cat6a cable for links within typical 100-meter structured cabling limits and pair it with compatible Cat6a-rated hardware. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show signs of wear.
