Networking cable GEMBIRD UPC-5004E-L Cat5e, 304.8 m, grey
GEMBIRD UPC-5004E-L Cat5e networking cable on a 304.8 m reel is an unshielded UTP cable designed for Ethernet and data communication in residential and commercial structured cabling. The cable uses CCA (copper-clad aluminium) conductors with stranded cores and meets Category 5e performance for 100BASE-TX and gigabit network segments where Cat5e performance is required. Supplied on a large reel, the cable is intended for horizontal runs, patch panels and backbone installations that require long continuous lengths.
The cable provides Cat5e-compliant transmission characteristics suitable for typical Ethernet applications while keeping material and weight advantages because of CCA conductors. Its stranded construction offers flexibility for routing and installation through conduits and cable trays. The 304.8 m reel format reduces the need for joins in long runs and simplifies deployment in new installations or when extending existing networks.
Measure and cut the required length from the reel, taking care to support the reel to prevent kinks. Strip the outer sheath and separate the twisted pairs only as much as needed for termination. Terminate with RJ45 connectors or jack modules compatible with stranded CCA conductors, and mount to patch panels or wall outlets as required. Observe bend radius recommendations and avoid excessive pulling tension during installation to preserve cable integrity and transmission performance.
For reliable network performance, use this Cat5e cable in applications and devices that accept CCA conductors and Cat5e specification. Avoid runs that require PoE at maximum power levels unless device compatibility is confirmed. Keep the cable within recommended bend radius and separate from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.
