Genius VEGA 6100147 Relay Four-Wire Photocells

Studio flash set Photo Element Genius‑Vega TXRX (OEM) model 13717 is a radio trigger kit designed to provide reliable remote synchronization between camera and studio or on‑camera flash units. The set includes a transmitter and receiver (TX/RX) that enable wireless triggering of compatible flashes, helping to reduce misfired frames and simplify multi‑flash setups for portrait, product and commercial photography.

Advantages

The TX/RX kit offers straightforward wireless synchronization, compact form factor and compatibility with a range of flashes and monolights that use radio triggers. By placing the transmitter on the camera hot shoe and the receiver on the flash or monoblock, photographers gain consistent timing and the option to trigger multiple units from a single control point. The system is intended to improve workflow on location and in the studio by reducing the need for cables and manual syncing.

Suitable for

• Studio portrait photography with multiple lights
• Product and e‑commerce photography requiring precise flash timing
• Location and event shoots where wireless triggering is preferred
• Hybrid setups combining monoblocks and on‑camera flashes

Key specifications

• Includes one transmitter (TX) and one receiver (RX) for radio triggering
• Wireless synchronization between camera and flash units
• Compact, hot‑shoe mounted transmitter design and receiver with standard flash mount
• Designed for use with studio monoblocks and external flash units that accept radio triggers
• Operates as a remote trigger solution to reduce missed exposures and speed up multi‑flash setups

How to use

Attach the transmitter to the camera hot shoe and secure the receiver to the flash or monoblock using the receiver’s flash mount. Power on both units, select the same radio channel or group on transmitter and receiver if applicable, and test fire to confirm synchronization. Adjust camera settings and flash power as required for exposure. For multi‑flash configurations, place additional receivers on each flash unit and ensure all receivers are set to the same channel or group as the transmitter.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, maintain line‑of‑sight where possible and avoid radio interference from other wireless devices. Test trigger function before important shoots and carry spare batteries for both transmitter and receiver. When combining studio monoblocks and small speedlights, verify trigger compatibility and flash recycle times to ensure consistent shooting pace.
