Fiber Optic Patch Panel GetFort PPO-1U/24 1U 24 Ports
Fiber Optic Patch Panel GetFort PPO-1U/24 1U 24 Ports
GetFort PPO-1U/24 is a 1U fiber optic patch panel with 24 ports designed to organize and protect fiber connections in racks and cabinets. The unit provides a compact, rack-mountable solution for centralized management of fiber terminations, supporting the installation of adapters or splice trays. Its design helps maintain fiber routing, reduce strain on connectors, and keep patching points accessible for maintenance and changes in telecom, data center and enterprise network distribution environments.
The GetFort PPO-1U/24 offers a space-efficient 1U form factor that fits standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. Constructed to separate termination and patching operations, the panel reduces risk of connector damage and simplifies reconfiguration of fiber links. The front-accessible port layout provides clear cable routing and eases identification during maintenance. The panel is compatible with a variety of adapter types and can accommodate splice trays, delivering flexibility for both pre-terminated and field-spliced installations.
Mount the GetFort PPO-1U/24 in a standard 19-inch rack at the desired height and secure with appropriate fasteners. Install required adapters into the front panel cutouts or place splice trays inside the panel to house fusion or mechanical splices. Route incoming and outgoing fiber cables through the rear entry points, following the built-in routing guides to avoid tight bends and limit bending radius. Label ports and patch cords for straightforward identification, then connect patch cords to the front adapters for active patching or leave splices within the internal trays for permanent connections.
Maintain minimum bend radius for all fibers, use compatible adapters and high-quality patch cords, and secure cables with strain-relief methods to ensure long-term performance. Perform labeling and documentation of port assignments immediately after installation to simplify future maintenance and changes.
