Fiber Optic Patch Panel GetFort PPO-1U/24-R — 1U, 24 Ports, Rack-Mount
GetFort PPO-1U/24-R is a 1U rack-mount fiber optic patch panel with 24 ports designed to organize and protect fiber terminations and patching connections. The unit provides a compact, standardized housing that supports orderly cable routing, adapter mounting and splice storage in data centers, telecom racks and network cabinets. The panel accepts commonly used SC/LC-style adapters and can be deployed for single-mode or multimode networks depending on the installed adapters and connectors.
The patch panel offers a space-saving 1U form factor and a 24-port layout that helps consolidate multiple fiber connections in a single rack unit. It includes provisions for cable management and strain relief to reduce stress on connectors and splices, and a secure front panel that protects terminations from physical damage and dust. The standardized design enables straightforward mounting and integration with existing rack infrastructure.
Install the patch panel into a 19-inch rack using the front-mounting holes and appropriate rack screws. Fit the required fiber adapters into the front panel openings, then route incoming and outgoing fiber cables through the rear entry points and secure them with the built-in clamps or ties to provide strain relief. Terminate or splice fibers as required and store splice sleeves inside the panel if applicable. Connect patch cords to the front adapters to establish cross-connections or links to active equipment.
For reliable performance, use compatible adapters and high-quality patch cords, maintain bend radius limits for installed fibers, and secure cables to the provided strain relief points. Keep the panel closed or covered when not in use to minimize dust ingress and regularly inspect connector endfaces for contamination to ensure optimal optical performance.
